A 'Baby Naming Ceremony' encourages you and your family to celebrate life and to become involved in the welfare of the child.

Becoming a parent is an exciting and emotional event. An experience which can leave new parents in particular, overwhelmed, so there is nothing as beautiful as being with the most important people in your life as you welcome baby into the community.

A name giving ceremony is a perfect way to celebrate by introducing and welcoming your new baby into the family and circle of friends. Naming ceremonies create a bond between families and bring an awareness of the importance of sharing values and responsibilities.

You can symbolise the ceremony in many ways: by lighting candles; having each guest say an 'I wish for you' blessing; reading a poem or singing a song.

You will receive a naming Certificate and if you wish, Certificates can be arranged for Godparents and or Grandparents too.

There are a variety of venues where you can hold your ceremony, such as your own garden, a friend or relatives home or a park.
